OUR MISSION

Addiction is a Disease that Affects the Whole Family.

The mission of Scott’s Way is to honor his love of children and art by brightening and enriching the lives of children affected by the disease of addiction – with art and creative therapy.

We dedicate this work to Scott and to his cousin Mark, who provided the inspiration for this project.

SCOTT’S STORY

Scott brought us light and love.

Scott C. McNeila (of Media, PA) passed away suddenly at age 35 in February 2020, of an accidental overdose. Through his years of struggle, Scott never lost his light. He stayed close to and was loved by his family and friends. He was the light of their lives and is deeply missed.

During this time, Scott created a large portfolio of free-hand pencil sketch images that capture the power of addiction on the mind, body, and soul. He also created renderings of his family and their favorite musicians - gifting them on special occasions. Scott’s smile and sparkle captivated his loved ones including his nieces and nephews, with whom he loved spending quality time.

Scott would be so happy to know that he helped to bring light and love to the lives of children affected by addiction.
